Comments on map:
Appears to be straightforward derivative from Ordnance Survey, with differences in lettering. 'Note[.] This new plan of Sheffield, is reduced from the large Ordnance Survey, and comprises all the subsequent improvements, new streets, &c., from 1850 to 1873, as surveyed by Messrs. Holmes & Johnson, for the Publisher.' [The '7' in 1873 is an obvious alteration, and nos 56-63 in the reference are also obviously an addition.]
