Accompanied by letterpress street-index. The map seems to be mostly a straightforward transcript of the Ordnance Survey 1:10,560 surveyed in 1888-90, except that: (1) the railway spur east of the River Hull is shown as connected up at both ends, whereas the OS only shows it connected at the eastern end; (2) most of the streets left unnamed and public buildings left undescribed by OS (including Holy Trinity church) are described, including banks; (3) the inner area is more generalised than on OS; (4) new building is added, and indicated by lighter hatching.
