Comments on map:
Map seems to be a straightforward transcript of the Ordnance Survey 1:10,560, with discreet revision. [Scale presumably intended as 1:10,560, but measured as 5.84 inches to 1 mile.] At the bottom of the map is a rather mechanical-looking 'scroll' with a list of 32 heights above sea level of various hills, etc.
