Comments on map:
Recorded from colour photograph, which, if the original scale is 1:15,840, has been reduced 3.4:4: dimensions have been compensated. The interesting thing about this map is that it is the 'Kemp' style, but engraved: evidently lithography was more cost-effective, cf John Wood. Notes of population, and first member returned in 1832. Principal roads coloured sienna on this copy.
