'Detail Map of the Town and Borough of Wilton and its Neighbourhood, prepared for drainage improvements. Surveyed by Frederick Haynes.'
Comments on map:
Title plus 1:2640 general map, including 'Sections of main sewers &c', plus 13 sheets at 1:528. Received by General Board of Health 13 Feb 57. Utility rather than showy, but quite colourful. Some drawing of building outlines etc in outline beyond neatlines, apparently original. The 'adjoining sheet numbers' are numbers which indicate joins between sheets, a most peculiar arrangement, which results in '4' appearing in the right-hand margin of sheet 4.
