Leamington Priors. 'Index to the Sheet Plan...' [illustrated by J.B. Harley in his essay in Field & Forest on Warwickshire Board of Health plans]. Sheets: 1,2,-,-;3,4,5,-;6-9;10-13;14-17;-,18,19,20;-,21,22,-;-,23,-,-. Paper is watermarked J. Whatman 1852; there is a second copy of Sheet 23, J. Whatman 1853, with additional buildings at the arboretum. [J.B. Harley in Field & Forest says houses are unnumbered: in fact house-numbering is intermittent, and presumably was not widespread.] [Much of the town is formed of a regular grid of streets, which must have eased field survey.]
