Dated 1855 in Plans of Birmingham and vicinity, ancient and modern, Birmingham: Public Works Committee, Town Council, 1884, but the date there is an addition. '1855' seems plausible on the grounds of the railway information, and is additionally supported by the reference to the survey now in progress (i.e. the 1:528 [Exeter 17008].
