Comments on map:
Aston juxta Birmingham tithe map. This map is presumably an updated derivative of Fowler's map of the parish, surveyed 1832-4 and probably published in 1835 [Exeter Towns database 20202]. The built-up part is not mapped in great detail. There are four 1:3960 enlargements of detail, but there is also a lot of very cramped mapping of the more built-up parts.
