In C.S. Ward, Surrey and Sussex [Thorough Guide Series], London: Dulau, 1893, f.p.23 (Hastings) and 26 (Ecclestone), and 1897 [no edition number], f.p.23 and 27. [There is a small overlap between the two, and the Ecclestone section neatly completes built-up-area cover.] Scale measured as 2.65 ins to 0.5 mile, 1:11,955. Rather closer to presumed Ordnance Survey 1:10,560 parent in style and content than is usual with Bartholomew [but cf 'Heywood' version discussed below]. [The RGS copy described here has very bad blue-plate registration on streams in the Ecclestone part.]
