Comments on map:
'The Plans of which this is a reduced copy were revisions of the tithe Plan, made by me, by order of the Assessment Committee of the Foreign (in 1860) and of the Old Borough (in 1861)'; accompanied by letterpress 'Terrier to the plan of the parish of Reigate, in the county of Surrey. 1860-61.'; as both map and terrier are signed by Eve, presumably the numbers printed of both were limited. 1:2376 enlargements of Reigate Town and 'a portion of Red Hill'. [This copy has had manors added.] Style akin to Standidge tithe maps, but with solid black buildings on the main part.
