Dated c.1747 in Hampshire RO list, but this is by association with some plans elsewhere explicitly dated thus: the style suggests more like 1800, with sophisticated grey brush-shaded relief. Paper watermarked J. W...: evidently Whatman, but date cropped. Style is very much that of the Ordnance, save for shading rather than hachures.
