Comments on map:
Recorded from K.J. Dean & P. Liddle, The urban growth of Walsall (1763-1966), a collection of historical maps with commentaries, Walsall Libraries and Art Gallery Committee, 1967: map 7: dyeline copy, evidently reduced, from original in Duke of Sutherland's collection in Staffordshire Record Office. 'Reproduction' is very unclear. The map is dated 1836, but includes a railway opened in 1847: a later addition?
