Comments on map:
Apparently derivative of transcript of a map from the same source as that of Colchester [Exeter 20519], with similar characteristics: no 'ordinary' buildings within the walls, and all text in French, including church dedications (except 'S.James ou S.Jacques'). BLML 1967 catalogue dates it c.1870, which is implausible, unless it relates to the transcript. Scale and dimensions from BL Add. MS. 11564.
