Comments on map:
The extent of cover, particularly on the east side, strongly suggests derivation from the Hoggar map of 1850 [Exeter 20398]. Undated: stamp BM blue 23 Oct 1871. The mapping is unquestionably by Bartholomew, though their attribution is uncharacteristically absent.
