Comments on map:
Said in Oxford RO card index to be drawn up for evangelical campaign of Rev Wm Wilson, vicar: the map at 1:2376 is accompanied by four sheets of diagrams of streets (probably north-west half of town only), in which a box for each house has the names of its inhabitants and variously coloured discs, presumably relating to their spiritual condition, but unfortunately there is no key to the meaning of this. Only text on main map is numbering of houses and list of 14 female District Visitors.
