Note of population, water supply and fire-fighting equipment on graphic index sheet at 1:2400, which covers a larger area than the detailed plans. Letterpress index to streets and 'specials', i.e. commercial premises, public buildings, etc. Vol. I is November 1886, surveyed July to October 1886, Vols II and III, Septr 1892 and Jany 1893 respectively, all revised and surveyed to November 1892 [revised Vol I not present]: Vols II and III extend cover over city centre and suburbs and include numerous scattered fragments, out to Basford, which cannot be satisfactorily mapped on our coverage diagram.
