Comments on map:
This has been extracted from a later version of Jackson's 1861 map [Exeter 19328], as evidenced by broken names. BLML catalogue dates it ?1892: no RD visible. Letterpress reference to buildings and streets down each side, but incomplete: cf omission of rinks and theatre, e.g. Indeed, it seems a little idiosyncratic. Nottingham Central Library Local Studies, A.20.1882.R4, seems to be the same: they date it 1882.
