Comments on map:
This seems to be the only copy of the award with maps, but map no.1, of East Croft and the Meadows, is now missing. Presumably 4 main sections at 1:2376, plus at least 15 small enlargements of detail at 1:1188, plus 3 sheets of cross-sections of roads and sewers. This is really more than an enclosure map, and as the open fields were laid out with sewered streets, the contours make good sense.
