Purpose unclear: fields have both owners and numbers, but some have 'J.B.S.B. Esq.' only, elsewhere 'J.B.S. Bradfield': he is the only one abbreviated thus. Clean-cut work. It may be a derivative from the enclosure map of 1818 [Exeter 18006]. Norfolk RO MC 62/6 is listed as valuation for poor rate, 1823.
