Recorded from reduced photo pasted into interleaved copy of Darlington & Howgego: the original was lot no.164 in Christies' sale of fans, 1 June 1993 (sold for 2000 pounds), with an inferior example as lot 165. So far as can be seen from the photo, the map is a standard pre-Rocque 'clone', with information on hackney and water fares: no doubt some of the finer detailing has been omitted from this record.
