Map title:
'Sythoff's plan van Londen, voor Nederlanders bewerkt. Met een beknopte platte grond aanwijzende de omnibus-routes, spoorwegen, stations en eenige, merkwaardigheden in en buiten Londen.'
Comments on map:
Principal streets and buildings only. Text on map in English. Undated: includes 1862 exhibition; Metropolitan Railway shown as two lines only, extending across Thames at Blackfriars; no Charing Cross line; this suggests 1862-3-ish; BM RD 10 April 1867 (red). Title and publisher from letterpress section. Three strips, with north-south overlap; gazetteer refers to G, R and W, the strips being pink, white and brown in ground. Small-scale plan in letterpress section. Idea may have been to get round the problem of a conventional map 'flapping about'.
