Comments on map:
Text advertisements round sides. Extensive use of sans-serif gives it a 'modern' look: not very refined. Scale described as 3 inches to 1 mile, but it and squaring measure as 3.5 inches. On left and right are tables of exhibitions, theatres, public buildings, police offices, courts of justice, prisons, colleges & public schools, palaces, squares and Society of Friends, in that order: but no churches! Seems to be designed for pleasure-seekers who decide to convert to Quakerism.
