Comments on map:
F.t.p. of Notitiae Ludae, or Notices of Louth, Louth: the author; London: Simpkin Marshall. No immediate indication who the author might be: the letterpress was printed at Louth by William Edwards. The map is curious, in that it is cropped close, then mounted on a larger sheet, so that the publication note is partly on the map and partly on the backing, yet the printer note, bottom right, is on the backing only. The map itself is conventional.
