Comments on map:
Photo-reduction of the 1868 edition of Padley's 1:3168 map [Exeter 18222], probably of c.1878, as it includes the Arboretum (1872), St Andrews church (1875), and Lincoln County Hospital (foundation stone 1876, opened 1878): see J.W.F. Hill, Victorian Lincoln, Cambridge University Press, 1974, 242-3, 153. Much of the detail is too over-reduced to be readily legible.
