Comments on map:
Compared with the 1817 version [Exeter 18217], one name has been deleted and one added. This new version may have been inspired by the visit of the Archaeological Society to Lincoln in 1848: there have been quite extensive revisions to both the 'antiquarian' and the 'modern' content, with modest additional building development all over the map. However, the alterations have been made 'on the cheap', with old work imperfectly deleted.
