Comments on map:
Possibly overlooked before as it came into the posession of Sir Hickman Bacon, but this is unquestionably produced for the local Board of Health: dating from date of spring tide in river. Sheets all cropped on one or two sides so as to fit together; all signed at top by John Hyde. Reference on sheet 4, but no title or scales. Some later revision added neatly, in red.
