To right of scale is: 'Note. Copies of the large Plan of Burnley, or any part with particulars, may be had at the Office of the Surveyor at a reasonable charge.' Two enlargements of detail. Striking lack of 'public buildings'. Writing descriptions across hatched and cross-hatched building infill does not aid legibility.
