Comments on map:
In Oliver & Boyd's Scottish Tourist, nineteenth edition, Edinburgh: Oliver & Boyd, London: Simpkin Marshall, 1852, f.p. 223. This is a much less sophisticated job than the Edinburgh map [Exeter 21735]. Seems to be good litho. Lack of building names is striking: clarity at the expense of information.
