Inset on 'Map of the Isle of Thanet and neighbourhood', frontispiece to Directory and guide to the Isle of Thanet..., 1883-4 [BM blue 20 Oc 83], also 1885-6 [BM blue 26 Se 85], London: Hutchings and Crowsley. It looks rather like a photo-copy of the W. & A.K. Johnston map [Exeter 19012]. The main map is a photographic copy from Ordnance Survey 1:63,360 New Series, about 13.0 x 11.4 ins (33.2 x 29.0 cm), with a little retouching and 2-inch squaring.
