Comments on map:
Frontispiece in John Kimbell, An account of the legacies, gifts, rents, fees &c appertaining to the Church and Poor of the parish of St Alphege Greenwich, 'Printed for the benefit of the Poor Women in the Jubilee Alms Houses' [which must make it one of the more unusual of fundraising publication ventures]; dedication (to inhabitants of parish) dated 1 September 1816. Map has south at the top, and detailing is unequal: included on grounds of scale and antiquity rather than completeness. 'Reduced from the Original' in engraving note, bottom left, which is dated 1815.
