Purpose unclear: came from a firm of solicitors in Deal. Dated mid-19th century in list, but calligraphy and paper look rather earlier. Drawn on ordinary foolscap writing-paper. No inked text: plenty of pencil, some possibly construction or copying, others field names or ownerships. Excellent for shapes of buildings and their divisions.
