Scale is 1 inch to just over 150 paces: 1:9000 assumed, allowing for paper shrinkage. Evidently derived from Speed: uninspiring. Reference follows Hollar [Exeter 21518]. Below city arms: 'This Plan of the City was reengraven at the Charge and by the Order of ye Right Worshipfull the Mayor Aldermen, and Common Council of this City in the Court of Burghmote A.D. 1703'.
