Comments on map:
Map undated, but accompanying letterpress index is dated 1895. Map could derive from Bacon [Exeter 19851] rather than direct from Ordnance Survey, but, anyway, is drawn in a very modern-looking sans-serif style, with only a few larger names in conventional serifs. [The balance is perhaps further away from serifs than was the Ordnance Survey 1:63,360 7th Series.]
