Note of population, water supply and fire-fighting equipment on graphic index sheet at 1:7200, which covers a larger area than the detailed plans. Letterpress index to streets and 'specials', i.e. commercial premises, public buildings, etc. This is 'Vol 1', surveyed August and September 1890: there is no volume 2. Sheet 1 is at 1:2400, sheet 6 is at 1:960, and 7 covers Sharpness New Docks at 1:960, with a location map and cross-sections at 1:480 of petroleum and other warehouses.
