Comments on map:
A printed map, extended in manuscript with new printed title 'Railways Docks and Harbours belonging to or connected with the Taff Vale Railway Co.', with Taff Vale property duly tinted pink. Dated c.1880 by Library: looks a little old-fashioned for its date, but colour-printing presumably means that cannot be much earlier. Penarth Docks are 'in course of construction'. Style suggests a relationship to the Malby-Bute mapping [Exeter 23094 and 23098], but area covered is much smaller.
