A puzzling map: detailed land-use suggests estate-map rather than Board of Ordnance, as does omitting of the marshes and details in the dockyard areas, yet the treatment of the town is entirely what one would expect from the Ordnance, and the execution is extremely good. Dating by Essex RO.
