Highly finished, practically to Ordnance Survey standards; evidently suitable for viewing by his lordship. Only the Seafield lands are fully mapped at Elgin, giving a patchy effect, but Rothes is fully mapped, similar to the 1859 George Gordon map [Exeter 21954].
