Inset on 'The county palatine of Durham survey'd by Capt. Armstrong and engraved by Thomas Jeffreys Georgrapher to His Majesty. MDCCLXVIII.' Dedication by Jeffreys. The map seems to be a straight copy from Forster's of 1754 [Exeter 19728], but with far fewer names, both of streets and of other features.
