Found with the correspondence of Charles I at Pythouse, photographed by Ordnance Survey (ref A.O. 234) when in the possession of Col Benett-Stratford, Pyt House, Tisbury, Wilts [sic]: Catalogue of photographs of old cadastral and other plans of Great Britain, Southampton: Ordnance Survey, 1935, says original scale was 1:4693, reduced to 1:5000 in photo: dimensions compensated. Reference to streets and buildings transcribed in letterpress and town arms added, neither evidently by Ordnance Survey.
