To left of title: 'Published Octr. 24 1824 by John Cooke Engraver & Geograr (late Engraver to the Admiralty) 48 Union St Stonehouse Plymo.' Engraving zeal perhaps flagged: to east of Plymouth is 'This part of the Country Hill & Dale'; west of Torpoint is 'This part of the Country Hill & Dale see trigonometrical Survey of Devon.' (sic). No border at bottom. Scale measured as 3 19/32 inch to 1 sea-mile (6080 feet), i.e. 1:20,661. Really a sea-chart: lots of soundings.
