The 3rd edition only has vague beigey shading for built-up areas. Scale measured as 1.625 ins to 0.25 mile, 1:9747. [The Bartholomew Printing Record [in National Library of Scotland, Map Library], records that 4020 copies of this plate were printed, two-up [i.e. 8040 copies in all] on 18 September 1892.]
