Usual putti about both titles: those in dedicatory title include one with a pole with a snake twisting round it, one struggling under a roll of plans, one with a trident pointing towards the river; in scale-title one is looking at a map of Great Britain and northern Ireland, one is using dividers, and one is looking at or writing in a book; at top of scale-title is a scene with clothed adult surveyors, two chaining and one apparently with a theodolite.
