Comments on map:
Three copies of the litho map at 153/A/2/3, another plus manuscript survey of rest of parish, also at 1:2376, at 861/2. Lithographed version covers whole of town within defences: dockyard, etc, mapped in detail. Most tenements numbered, but no cadastre to hand. Some urban detail may be taken from Richards, 1810 [Exeter 20589]. Rural parts no more revealing than the 1:4752 tithe version. Manuscript parts have revision up to 1890s, e.g. LSWR from Tavistock.
