Comments on map:
No indication on map of author or date: CUL card says 1798, and there is a pencil note on the back of the map that it is from Harraden's Description of Cambridge 1798-1800, 'see Cam.c.800.1'. (It is not the same as the later map [Exeter 21175].) Remarkable for mezzotint treatment of building-infill and some tree-ornament: as on Exeter 21175, some writing is obscured by building infill and is near-impossible to read without a magnifier.
