Comments on map:
Dye-line or sun-print, presumably produced internally by the London & North Western Railway: as much a 'railway map' as an 'urban map'. Seems to be straightforward transcript of Ordnance Survey 1:2500 1st edition, augmented with further streets and buildings, and railway details, including bridge numbers. Date of c.1897 is supported both by a dated version at Buckinghamshire RO and by comparison with OS revised New Series sheet 202, revised 1893, and Third Edition, revised 1904.
