Note of population, water supply and fire-fighting equipment on graphic index sheet at 1:4800, which covers a larger area than the detailed plans. Letterpress index to distilleries, 'buildings' and 'firms'. No doubt the flammable qualities of the spirit account for the choice of subject-matter. (There were 32 distilleries in the town at its peak.) Distilleries on sheets 8 and 9 are mapped both in detail and (uncoloured) in outline.
