Comments on map:

An example of the early 18th century type with vignettes of notable buildings and residences round the edge (cf Cossins, e.g.). Left of top centre is a table of inns; right of top centre is a title with a potted history of Bath. A Bath publisher/seller seems to have been imperfectly deleted, beneath the potted history. High-quality engraving.
